​   Monday, January 15th is a snow make up day.  The cafeteria menu for Monday will be : Pizza, Bean Blend,Asst.Raw   Veggies,Fruit and Milk.

   Any senior whose parent or grandparent worked for the Walkin Shoe Company can apply for the Snayberger Memorial   Scholarship. Stop in guidance for more information.

   The PA CareerLink Schuylkill County is accepting applications for the summer work program.  This program is for youth ages 14   and older and provides the participant with up to 30 hours per week of work, earning $8.00/hr. Student must meet eligibility   guidelines to qualify. Applications can be found in the guidance office.

   Dr. Setlock will be here 2-22-17 for spring sports physicals.  If any student still needs a sports physical for spring please sign up   in the nurse's office. Cost $5.

   Seniors who plan to major in business administration can apply for the PASBO scholarship.  Applications can be found in the   guidance office.

   Any senior who lives in the Shenandoah Borough and has applied to Bloomsburg University can apply for the Golden Rule   Scholarship. Applications can be found in the guidance office.

   Any senior who plans to attend a trade or technical school can apply for the Golden Rule Trade School Scholarship.   Applications can be found in the guidance office.
   Current freshmen who are interested in attending the Schuylkill Technology Center for next school year should pick up an   application packet in the guidance office. Applications are due to Mrs. Mikita by March 16th.

   IU29’s Winter Family Night in the MakerSpace.  The Family Night will take place on February 15, 2018 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm in   the MakerSpace at IU29.  Students in grades 3-8 are invited to attend with their parents.  The focus of this event will be   construction and 3-D Printing.  Dinner will be provided for those that attend.

   Students who have participated in at least two SKIP cleanups can apply for the SKIP Scholarship. Application can be found   online at www.skiplitter.orgrship and also the present and past HOBY winners may apply.

  Seniors can apply for the JCI Senate Scholarship. This scholarship is for Pennsylvania residents. Go to www.usjcisenate.org and   click on Scholarship program in the top header/drop down box for the application link. Deadline to apply is January 5, 2018.

   Graduating seniors who have a parent that is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers can apply for   the PACB Scholarship. Eligible seniors should see Mrs. Mikita for an application.

   Seniors who have applied to the University of Pittsburgh are strongly encouraged to apply for the Stamps Scholarship. This is a   full tuition scholarship for 4 years. Guidelines for the scholarship can be found in the guidance office.

   Students and parents can enter to win the Discover Scholarship by visiting collegecovered.com.  Students can also use this   website to search over 3 million scholarships and no registration is required. More information is also in guidance.

   Seniors who have demonstrated achievements in their activities at school can apply for the AXA achievement scholarship at   www.scholarsapply.org/axa-achievement  or stop in guidance.

   Students in interested in majoring in agriculture can apply for the America’s Famer’s Grow AG Scholarship.  Go to   GrowAgLeaders.com to apply.

   Seniors who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship can apply for the GE-Reagan Foundation scholarship.   Apply online at reaganfoundation.org/scholarships or pick up a flyer in guidance.

   Seniors who have applied to the University of Scranton can apply for the Koons Scholarship. Application guidelines and   deadlines can be found in the guidance office. 

   The Pennsylvania American Legion has 6 different scholarship opportunities available. A list of available scholarships can be   found in the guidance office.
